ADMINISTRATIVe
The Administrative Committee consists of the officers of Presbyery, the chairman of each of the other permanent committees, and a chairman elected by Presbytery. It is charged with the preparation of all meetings of Presbytery, supervising all committees, serving as the point of contact for all communication, recommending the Presbytery budget, and overseeing the office of the Stated Clerk and Treasurer.

The Care Committee is charged with bringing minister candidates under their care, to oversee their internship, to help ensure they are well prepared for the ministry of Christ Jesus.

Examining
The Examining Committee serves to examine candidates for licensure and ordination prior to their appearance before Presbytery, as well as transferring ministers seeking admission to Presbytery. It is also tasked with any question of a minister’s doctrine and teaching.

MINISTERial RELATIONS
The Ministerial Relations Committee is charged with the oversight of all teaching elders in the Presbytery and on their calls at the churches of Presbytery. It also serves to counsel with pastors and churches with informal matters of shepherding, mediation, and reconciliation in order to keep certain matters from becoming formal and judicial. Churches desiring to call a minister may seek the committee’s counsel or assistance in finding pulpit supply.

The Missions Committee shall assist Presbytery and the local churches to carry out the great commission within the bounds of Presbytery and abroad.
